Epworth Press is a book publisher.. Some of the books published by Epworth Press include Journeying With God: An Exploration of Ignatian Spirituality, Groundwork of Christian Spirituality, Practice of the Presence of God, and A ROMANY AND RAQ.   A book published recently in England, under the title of "A Romany in the Fields," by Rev. G. Bramwell Evens, one time Wesleyan minister at Carlisle, has a certain amount of local interest, in that the sketches deal almost exclusively with an area In the lower stretches of the Eden Valley. which pivots on what the Penrith "Herald" calls "the hospitable home of the .

Has Romany's sketches throughout the text. ROMANY OF THE BBC. Title as follows: A Romany in the fields A Romany on the trail Out with Romany again Out once more with Romany Romany, Muriel & Doris by Raq (Romany's dog!) For condition please read above. Bramwell Evens: 6: Out With Romany Once More by George Bramwell Evens: 7: Out with Romany by the sea by George.

When Romany and Tim reached Raq they could only hear him, and not see him. Both Romany and Tim loved Taq badly. The sea-bird hurt Raq very badly. The cave was not really a safe place for Romany, Tim or Raq to be in. Romany and Tim saw an octopus in the cave. Raq was wet when Tim held him tightly in his arms.   Came across one of the 'Romany' books in Carlisle library recently. I read a lot of them as a child in the s. His faithful companion, a cocker spaniel called Raq, also features a lot, as do talks with farmers, shepherds, gamekeepers and poachers. Bramwell Evens was a minister and was in fact at the Methodist Central Hall in Carlisle.
